In the mid-20th Century, persons began speaking of being on a trip, or high on a drug. If you are on a spiritual trip, it is another trip, another high. Spirituality, then, becomes another drug. The Self is before all trips, all highs. Surrender all spirituality to the Self before all spirituality. Come to claim you have no spirituality, no spiritual path.
Spirituality becomes another escape, even as religion is an escape - an escape from your Self. So, at some point, you will be taken off all trips, all highs, all attempts to escape. Then, you will be free. Then, you can be religious, spiritual - anything the Self chooses to be. You will know and feel deeply that you belong to no one, to nothing, not even the person you thought you are. You will never again identify with anything, anyone, but the Self, the Radiance of Life.
Call the Self, Love if you choose. However, many persons have a false idea of Love. They speak of Love, but they are on a "love" high, a "love" trip. To know the Self as Love, is beyond all that.
